Carrickfin man Henry O’ Donnell will be sharing an insight into an extraordinary expedition in RTE’s Nationwide this evening.
Henry O’Donnell ( Anrí Ó Domhnaill ) is well on his way in an attempt to become the first person to finswim solo around the island of Ireland.
The 56-year-old’s Round Ireland Finswim expedition aims to raise money for Irish Cancer Society and Water Safety Ireland.
O’Donnell set out on his mission in September, and has now made it as far as the South East coast.
Tonight’s Nationwide programme will catch up with the world-renowned record breaker to learn about his ambitious challenge.
Using only fins and a snorkel, O’Donnell’s mission is expected to take about a year to complete. Follow his journey on finswim2020.com
Catch the feature on RTE Nationwide at 7pm.
