Breaking: 187 new Covid-19 cases in Donegal; ten deaths, 6,521 cases nationally

ANOTHER 187 cases of Covid-19 have been announced in Donegal this evening.

Nationally, ten additional Covid-19 deaths were confirmed by health officials.

In the last 24 hours, 6,521 new infections have been detected.

In Donegal, there have now been 1,823 cases in the last two weeks with the 14-day incidence rate, per 100,000 population now at 1,145.2, against a national average of 936.4.

Earlier today, 17 further Covid-19 deaths and 1,410 new cases were confirmed in Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland’s hospitals are at 103 per cent capacity with 569 Covid-19 patients in hospitals there, 44 of whom are in intensive care. A further 226 patients are awaiting admission.
