Watch: Skiers take to the skies on Errigal

SOME intrepid skiers took to the top of snow-covered Errigal this week.

The 751-metre high Errigal was tucked under a blanket of snow and a few locals took skis and ski poles to the summit.

Donegal’s highest mountain has been popular with climbers in recent weeks.

With international travel to ski resorts at a standstill, some daring natives decided to improvise.

Three years ago, in January 2017, adventurer and mountaineer Iain Miller descended Errigal on skis.
