The Department of Health in Northern Ireland reports another 1,442 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
Nine more people with Covid-19 have died in the region, bringing the official death toll to 1,443
In the past seven days, the Department of Health NI has recorded 11,298 new cases of the virus, up from 10,857 in the seven days prior.
Northern Ireland is about to enter its third week of lockdown, with new guidelines and laws in force to ensure more people stay at home.
People can only leave home with a “reasonable excuse” such as for medical or food needs, exercise and work that cannot be done from home. No unnecessary travel is allowed.
