Letterkenny University Hospital is continuing to deal with increased pressure as the number of Covid-19 admissions takes another jump.
There are now 79 patients battling the virus at the hospital. Four patients were recorded as critical at 8pm last night.
Extra staff were drafted in on Sunday evening after ambulances were forced treat patients outside due to a shortage of beds.
ICU is at capacity, with zero critical care beds available. Just four general care beds were available in the hospital last night.
Emergency measures were taken to bring extra staff in last night, which allows for an extra 11 beds to open.
