The Letterkenny Lions Club has issued a huge thank you to everyone who helped them rise above the challenges of Covid-19 to host a successful charity food appeal in 2020.

Three local charities benefited from the many generous donations collected by the club in December, both in-person and online.

We Care Food Bank, Cara House and Donegal Women’s Domestic Violence Centre were supported by the initiative at a crucial time before Christmas.

Susan Stevenson, President of Letterkenny Lions Club says: “We wish to thank all those who generously donated to our annual food appeal in December and we wish to thank those who donated funds through our GoFundMe on Facebook.

“We also wish to thank Dunnes Stores for their support and all of the volunteers who helped make this appeal a success.”
