Members of the military are to be deployed to hospitals in Northern Ireland to support staff during the Covid-19 crisis.
Army personnel with medical training are set to help nurses on hospital wards, BBC NI reports.
The Department of Health in Northern Ireland has announced a further 22 Covid-19 deaths today, with 18 occurring in the past 24 hours. A further 905 cases of the virus have been detected in the region.
Hospitals are working at 96% capacity, with 832 hospital inpatients, including 793 Covid-19 cases. There are 67 people with the virus in ICU, and 57 are on ventilators.
