Many placenames across Donegal have different spellings.

It is Killygordan or Killygordon? Is it Sliabh Liag or Slieve League?

Now an old picture of a certain Donegal coastal village has sparked a bit of controversy.

This brilliant picture of the old Rathmullen Post Office appears to have an ‘e’ in its title.

The picture appeared this week on the Rathmullan Donegal Facebook page and has sparked some debate.

What way do you spell Rathmullan/Rathmullen and why do you think you’re correct?
