IT WAS graduation day with a difference for Letterkenny Institute of Technnology’s classes of 2020 yesterday.

Virtual graduation ceremonies were held throughout Friday by LyIT’s various departments.

Students from all over the world – from Cavan to Nigeria, Donegal to Malaysia, Dublin to the USA – graduated from LyIT.

“A brilliant day of worldwide celebration,” was how one employee described the day.

After one of the most challenging years ever seen in education, the students had to make do with a very different graduation day.

Each of the conferring sessions can be viewed on LyIT’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFjiTTsZmhiYi9pN9D5120w
