Number of Covid-19 patients at LUH increases

THERE has been an increase in the number of patients at Letterkenny University Hospital who have Covid-19.

The latest figures from the HSE show that there are now 99 people in the facility being treated for the coronavirus.

That is up from one in the previous 24 hour period.

Five patients with Covid-19 are receiving critical care at LUH.

As of 8pm last evening, there were 1,893 patients in Ireland’s hospitals being treated for Covid-19.

At LUH. there was also one suspected Covid-19 case while there are 25 general and one critical care bed available.
