A young man has appeared in court charged with assault causing harm to another man in a Ballybofey bar.
Leon Gallagher appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to assaulting Andrew Gallagher.
The assault took place at McKelveys Bar on December 16th, 2019.
Gallagher, with an address at Cuilara, Belcara, Castlebar, Co Mayo only spoke to confirm his guilty plea.
Barrister Fiona Crawford asked for a probation and welfare report as well as a psychiatric report.
Judge John Aylmer adjourned the case for sentencing to the next sitting of the courts in April.
