Number of Covid patients at Letterkenny Hospital jumps to 109

Letterkenny University Hospital is now catering for a record 109 patients with Covid-19.

That is a rise of seven patients from the previously reported figure of 102 patients.

Of these, a total of six patients are now being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.

The hospital is stretched to capacity with all face to face appointments cancelled again at the hospital.

The number of new cases of Covid being reported in Donegal is decreasing in recent days with a total of 18 new cases reported yesterday.
