A man has pleaded guilty to the distribution of child pornography.
Brendan McAteer appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to the single charge.
McAteer, with an address at Cargin Road, Toomebridge, Co. Antrim was charged with knowingly distributing child pornography in the State on February 11th, 2019.
The charge relates to an address in Carrigart on February 2nd, 2019.
His barrister, Mr Shane Costello, said that his client came before the court with no previous convictions.
Mr Costello asked for the case to be adjourned to allow for a Probation Report.
Judge John Aylmer agreed and adjourned the case for sentencing.
