Covid-19: Sixteen deaths, 506 new cases in Northern Ireland

THERE have been 16 more Covid-19 related deaths in Northern Ireland.

Figures released today mean the region’s death toll has risen to 1,915.

A further 506 new cases were identified meaning there have been 3,203 infections within the last seven days.

Hospital occupancy is at 94 per cent in the North. There are 2,841 people in beds and 67 patients with Covid-19 are in intensive care.
