Job Vacancy: Glebe Builders is one of the leading construction companies in the North West with a number of projects in operation nationwide.
The company is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Contractor).
Role Includes:
- Creating, managing and tracking sub-contractor packages.
- Procuring material packages
- Forming and enforcing contracts with subcontractors
- Quantifying and taking off material using cubit or similar product
- Sourcing of alternative products
- Preparing and checking valuations
- Creating sub-contractor packages and pricing.
- Ability of negotiate most economic prices.
- Creating project cashflows and budgets
- Tendering and estimating
Minimum Requirements:
- 5-8 years’ experience in contracting environment
- Familiar with Microsoft office/ Microsoft project
- Familiar with Buildsoft & Cubit
- Degree in Quantity surveying
