Donegal County Council gritters will be treating all main routes in the county tonight as temperatures dip to freezing.
Tonight will see temperatures falling to between 0 and 3C in Donegal.
Some frost patches will form inland, according to Met Eireann.
Council gritters will be in action from 9pm.
Met Eireann’s four-day weather advisory comes into effect on Sunday with the expected arrival of very cold temperatures and snow.
