THE ESB say that power will be restored to affected homes in Carndonagh by midday.
Last night just after 8pm, a power cut hit the area.
The outage left 160 customers without supply.
An ESB repair crew is on site.
A spokesperson said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
A Status Yellow wind warning is in place for Donegal while Met Éireann also have a Status Yellow snow and ice warning for the county.
