GARDAÍ are appealing for the driver of a lorry whose vehicle was responsible for snapping and felling the Christmas lights in Ballybofey to come forward.

The incident happened in the early hours of January 22 last.

The lorry was parked in the car park at the Main Street.

As it was exiting, the vehicle made contact with the lights, causing damage.

Gardái are keen to expedite the matter and have called for the driver to come forward.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Gardaí on 074-9167100.
