Donegal TV presenter Ciara Doherty has spoken of her fears after she tested positive for Covid.

The Letterkenny-born Virgin Media star is five months pregnant with her second child.

Ciara, who presents the Tonight Show with Matt Cooper, revealed she tested positive for the virus in recent days.

She said “I had been super vigilant. I don’t know where I picked it up.

“I actually shed a tear coming back from the test centre.

“I was really worried about the baby. But I’ve been reassured by my consultant everything will be ok.”
