The number of Covid-19 related deaths in Donegal has risen to 123.
The Central Statistics Office recorded another seven deaths since January.
Five people with confirmed Covid-19 passed away in the week ending 12th February. Another death was recently recorded in the week ending 8th January and the total deaths in Donegal in the week ending 5th February has risen to 10.
The median age of those who died in Donegal is 83.
A total of 8,142 cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Donegal up to last week, including 82 in the week up to 12th February. This is the first week since early September that the total number of new cases has been below 100.
The median age of all people infected with coronavirus in Donegal is 39.
CSO analysis of the situation nationwide shows that 191 people with confirmed COVID-19 died in the week ending 12 February. 91% of deaths were among people aged 65 years and over.
There were 261 health care workers diagnosed in the week ending 12 February, this is the lowest weekly figure since the week ending 11 December.
