Fifteen new cases of Covid-19 in Donegal; 45 deaths nationally

ANOTHER 15 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Donegal this evening.

Nationally, the National Public Health Emergency Team was notified of 45 more deaths related to Covid-19. Forty-one of the deaths occurred in February with the other four occurring in January.

A further 575 new cases were announced.

In Donegal, there have been 257 cases over the last 14 days.

Ireland’s death toll from Covid-19 is now 4,181 while there have been 216,300 infections.

As of 8am today, 693 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 150 are in ICU. There have been 37 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.

As of last Saturday (20 February), there have been 350,322 doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in Ireland: 219,899 people have received their first dose; 130,423 people have received their second dose.
