A young rising star from Lifford is about to have his TV debut on an RTE talent show.
Kirs Friel, aged 9, will star on Donncha’s Two Talented on RTEjr this Wednesday.
The show sees talented youngsters mentoring their family members to perform a double act on the show.
Kris and his mum Veronica enjoyed a trip to RTE studios for their exciting performance.
Young Kris, who is a pupil at St Columba’s NS, Clady, is passionate about music and performing. He sings, plays piano, guitar, the ukulele and the banjo and recently got 99% in his grade 3 LCM piano exam.
Kris went viral last year with a powerful rendition of ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’, which he dedicated to frontline workers facing the pandemic.
