The number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals across the country has fallen below 500 for the first time this year.
The figures, released by the Health Service Executive, includes the number of people being treated for Covid at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Last night there were 11 Covid patients in the hospital with four of those being in ICU.
Across the country, there were 494 confirmed cases were recorded in hospitals.
This compares to January 1st, when there were 508 Covid-19 patients in hospitals.
That number rose during January to a peak of 2,020 cases on 18 January, the highest number seen in hospitals during any of the three waves in Ireland.
The HSE said there were 115 patients with Covid-19 in intensive care last night, while the National Public Health Emergency Team said have been no Covid-19 admissions to intensive care units in the last 24 hours.
During the peak of ICU cases in January, there were 221 patients being treated.
