Donegal County Council has moved to rectify an issue on their website which has left some members of the public unable to search for planning applications.

The planning search application is a popular feature on the council’s website.

However, in recent days people have been unable to locate applications for proposed developments across the county.

Now the council has said it is dealing with “technical issues” with the site.

However, a spokesperson said they hope to have the issue rectified as soon as possible.

“The Council are aware of some technical issues over the last day or two with the planning enquiry system on our website.

“Staff are currently working on the issue and hope to have it resolved shortly. We will provide an update when this technical issue has been corrected,” said the spokesperson.
