Letterkenny has turned forty shades of green to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.

A great collective effort by the Letterkenny Chamber has led to many businesses switching their lights for a St Patrick’s Day with a difference.

While we cannot celebrate in our usual ways, the town has become a feast for the eyes for anyone passing through. Meanwhile, virtual events are taking place across the county to connect people at home and abroad.

Businesses are also embracing the Irish language by adding a cúpla focal to their displays in support of a Líonra Leitir Ceanainn contest.

Photographer Tommy Mc Cafferty from Ghost Productions LK was out and about capturing the great green displays for anyone who can’t be close to home this year.
