Job vacancy: Qualified/time served mechanic sought at Foyle Coaches

Foyle Coaches Northwest Busways Ltd have a vacancy for a qualified/time served mechanic.

Job Purpose

The Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the fleet vehicles which include Mercedes/Man/Iveco

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 2 year experience in a similar role
  • Must be competent to carry out routine inspections
  • Have fault finding ability

An Advantage but not Essential

  • Full clean bus driving licence
  • The ability to carry out diagnostics or be prepared to complete training in diagnostics

Key Tasks Required

  • Carrying out inspection/maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and ordering parts
  • All maintenance/repair work carried out in full and to Health & Safety standards
  • Recording all relevant details, completing records etc
  • Using materials, parts and equipment in an efficient manner
  • Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues

Salary

€31,000 / €35,000 p.a.
