St Patrick’s Day ‘parade’ at Letterkenny medical practice

There might not have been a St Patrick’s Day parade in Letterkenny this year, but there was one of a different kind at a local medical practice.

Yesterday morning, the colourful staff at Scally McDaid Roarty Medical Practice held their second ‘drive-through’ vaccination.

Their over 80s patients were not only delighted to get their vaccine, but also to see the medical staff dressed in various St Patrick’s Day theme costumes!

“Thanks to all our team for helping us roll out the Covid vaccine to our over patients on a beautiful St Patrick’s morning,” a spokesperson for the practice said.

“It was such a joy for us to see the delight on their faces as they came to our second drive through vaccine clinic. We are getting there and WILL beat this virus.”
