It may be wet and windy but there’s nothing going to stop Jim Wasson from celebrating his 90th birthday.

Jim, from The Glebe in Letterkenny, has been inundated with the warmest of wishes from near and far for his milestone birthday.

One of them came from local Garda Maeve Logue of the Community Policing Unit in Letterkenny who was on hand with Jim’s ‘Meals on Wheels’ dinner.

Have a great day and no doubt Jim, who is renowned for his lovely voice, will be treating family to a song or two.
