Gardaí have launched an appeal for information following the theft of an engine in Ballybofey.
A Lister engine from a cement mixer was stolen from a yard in the Meenglass area of Ballybofey between 8am on March 8th and 8pm on March 9th. The engine is a distinctive green colour.
As investigations continue into the theft, gardaí are advising people to be vigilant for the resale of the engine.
Gardaí said: “If anybody has any information in relation to this theft or if they have come across a similar second hand engine for sale in recent weeks, we ask them to contact Letterkenny Gardaí on 074-9167100.”
