Seventeen new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Donegal today.
There are nine further Covid-related deaths and 443 new cases of the disease nationwide.
Of the deaths, three occurred in January, two in February, three in March and one occurred in April.
Donegal has the fifth highest increase in new cases reported to NPHET today.
Over the Easter break, Donegal recorded 17 new cases on Friday, 20 on Saturday and 10 on Sunday.
As of 8am today, there are 261 COVID-19 patients in hospitals, of which 60 are in ICU. There have been 12 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
The latest data from Letterkenny University Hospital (as of 8pm last night) recorded three Covid-19 patients onsite, with no patients with the virus in ICU.
The Department of Health also reports today that 932,324 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ireland up to 3rd April. A total of 660,800 people have received their first dose and 271,524 people have received their second dose.
The Covid-19 14-day incidence rate in Donegal now stands at 246.2 per 100,000. The national average is 157.1 per 100,000.
