Some Donegal routes to be gritted as temperatures plunge

A number of routes across Donegal are to be gritted from tomorrow morning as temperatures are set to drop.

Donegal County Council’s team of gritters will take to the roads at 6am tomorrow (FRI).

The forecast for this weekend is for hail, sleet and snow and temperatures drop to as low as -4 degrees, according to Met Eireann.

The following routes will be gritted:

01: National Primary North
02: National Primary Central
07: Milford South
09: Cill Ulta East
12: Binswilly
13: Stranorlar North
14: Stranorlar East
15: Stranorlar West
18: Donegal South
LT: Letterkenny Town
