Council gritters to treat primary routes from 6am as temperature to plunge again

DONEGAL County Council will have its gritters dispatched from 6am tomorrow morning as the cold snap continues.

Met Eireann say that temperatures will drop to as low as -1 overnight with frost forming under any clear skies.

Sleet showers are also forecast on higher ground.

Primary routes in Donegal will be treated from early on Monday morning, the Council has said.

The following routes will be gritted from 6am:

01: National Primary North

02: National Primary Central

07: Milford South

09: Cill Ulta East

11: Na Rosa

12: Binswilly

13: Stranorlar North

14: Stranorlar East

15: Stranorlar West

17: Donegal North

18: Donegal South

LT: Letterkenny Town
