Two further Covid-19 related deaths have been reported in Northern Ireland today.
Another 159 new cases have been detected, health officials have confirmed.
There have been 833 new cases of Covid-19 in the region in the past week – up from 542 in the previous week.
There are 76 patients in Northern Ireland hospitals being treated for Covid-19, eight of whom are in intensive care settings.
Currently in Northern Ireland people over the age of 40 are eligible for the vaccine. As of Wednesday, 1,062,178 vaccines have been administered, 838,049 of which were first doses and 224,129 were second doses.
