A call has been made to have a pedestrian crossing placed at a busy Letterkenny school.
Councillor Kevin Bradley said such a crossing should be placed opposite Woodlands National School which is located on the Main Ramelton to Letterkenny Road.
The motion was brought to the latest meeting of the Letterkenny/Milford Municipal Authority.
The motion was second by Councillor Ian McGarvey.
Councillor Bradley said the school was located on a very busy area and pointed out that a number of the children at the school had special needs.
Donegal County Council Area Manager David McIlwaine said the council will examine the situation and come back to councilors with a possible solution to the issue.
