OISIN Orr scored an 80/1 winner at The Curragh this afternoon.

Orr, the joint champion apprentice in 2019, won the TRI Equestrian Superstore & Cafe Irish EBF Maiden.

Orr took Abeona, a rank 80/1 outsider, to an impress win.

Abeona romped home with three-and-a-half lengths to spare.

Trainer Jimmy Coogan said:  “She’s a grand filly and came to us from Sarah Lynam.

“I gave her an each-way chance, but I didn’t think she was going to go and do it like that. If I did then I would have had a few quid on her!”

Dylan Browne-McMonagle was also a winner at The Curragh, taking the Joseph O’Brien-trained Raise You (9/2) to the Tesoro Vita Handicap.

Browne-McMonagle edged out Fame And Acclaim, with Declan McDonagh in the saddle, by a neck.
