Greenery at Ballymacool Park in Letterkenny was destroyed in a fire last night.
The fire broke out at approx 8.20pm on Saturday night in the ‘Natures Valley Garden’ seating area.
Fire services attended the scene and extinguished the blaze shortly afterwards. However, an entire bush and fencing were destroyed.
Gardaí have confirmed that they are treating the incident as criminal damage and investigations are ongoing.
No arrests have been made.
