Scooting ‘nurses’ turn heads in hilarious charity challenge

A daring duo caused a sensation on the roads today after scooting from Muff to Redcastle to raise money for Letterkenny University Hospital.

Brothers Darren and Dean Curran braved the 14km journey in tiny nurses’ outfits to bring attention to their cause.

And attention was what they got!

The duo were well supported throughout their journey from Texaco in Muff to Mc Gowan’s bar in Redcastle. Their tiny Peppa Pig scooters withstood the test too, even with the lads wearing high heels!

This is Darren and Dean’s third attempt to host the challenge, as restrictions halted their plans in recent months.

Darren and Dean’s ‘scoot’ for LUH

Not only did today’s challenge bring some laughter to people’s lives, all proceeds will be donated as a show of appreciation to staff at LUH.

If you want to donate online, please send a donation to the PayPal account: deancurran17@gmail.com

The antics didn’t stop once the lads made it home to Redcastle either. To celebrate, they subjected themselves to a leg wax and a new hairdo.
