A NEW development of apartment blocks containing 21 residential units is to be built in Letterkenny.

Planning permission has been sought for the development at Windyhall Road.

The applicant, McHugh Bros (Builders) Ltd propose to construct the 21 units across five apartment blocks.

Block A is to contain six apartments with Blocks B, C and D including two apartments and two duplex apartments. Block E will have one apartment and two duplex apartments.

The proposed development includes the erection of fencing, railings, retaining walls, pubic lighting, parking, a covered bike stand and bin stores.

The Windyhall Road – a notoriously narrow and busy road – will be widened across the length of the site of the development as part of the works.
