Funeral today of Donegal man killed in motorcycle crash

THE funeral takes place today of the Donegal man who died in a road traffic accident last weekend.

Patrick McGinley, in his 40s and from Kilmacrennan, died when his motorcycle collided with a roundabout in Castleblayney, County Monaghan on Saturday evening.

The collision occurred at around 5.10pm.

Mr McGinley was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr McGinley worked as a community health worker with the Donegal Travellers Project.

Funeral Mass today at 11am in St. Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan and can be viewed live on the Kilmacrennan Parish Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Kilmacrennan.Parish.Co.Donegal. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

In compliance with HSE and Government Guidelines, wake, funeral and interment are strictly private to family only please.
