Donegal people are expected to flock to the hills and beaches over the next four days as temperatures are expected to rise.
Today will be the first day of hot and sunny weather which is forecast to continue for the weekend.
According to Met Éireann, misty patches will clear this morning to leave us with a dray day with hazy sunshine. Temperatures are expected to rise to a high of 16 degrees.
Tonight, however, clear starry skies will result in temperatures cooling to as low as zero degrees, with a touch of grass frost possible.
Tomorrow, Friday, will be another dry and bright day, however, there will be more cloud about with hazy sunny spells and highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees.
The great weather will continue in that vein over the weekend.
According to the national forecaster, we will continue to bask in sunshine until Monday.
