GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Stranorlar on Saturday evening,
An altercation between to males took place at a garage forecourt between 8.30-9pm.
One of the males sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for the Garda Press Office confirmed to Donegal Daily that a man in his 50s was discovered at the scene with a knife wound and bruising to his face and was treated by paramedics. A man was arrested nearby.
