Donegal’s traffic wardens are back on patrol across the county.
The familiar uniforms were back checking on cars this week in a number of towns across the county including Letterkenny and Buncrana.
The wardens were withdrawn when the country went back into Level 5 lockdown in line with Covid regulations.
Parking charges were temporarily suspended last year during the first lockdown.
However, they were not officially withdrawn during the latest lockdown despite the lack of enforcement through the lack of wardens.
People who do not visit Donegal’s bigger towns have been warned that pay-and0display meters are now in operation and must be paid to avoid parking tickets.
