It’s a long way to go for a reunion of Donegal Town friends.
Catriona Donaghy and her family moved to Brisbane in Australia some 11 years ago.
So you can imagine her surprise when she bumped into neighbour Gerard Byrne, also from Donegal Town!
Well-known dancer Gerard is touring Australia with an Australian production ‘A Taste Of Ireland’.
The troupe is doing 90 shows over four months travelling through Australia and Tasmania.
Gerard is a three-time World Champion and dances with the Mc Neilis Cunningham School.
Proud Donegal woman Catriona traveled to Ipswich with daughters Sarah and Molly to see the show and caught up with Gerard afterwards.
Catriona said “Hope you are all keeping well and safe and hopefully this pandemic is near the end.”
