A walk-in or self-referral Covid testing centre is to be opened in Milford.
The centre is to open at the Milford Mart from tomorrow (Wed) and will stay open for three days.
The announcement was made by Health Minister Stephen Donnelly.
It follows a spike in the incidence rate of Covid in the Milford electoral area.
Additional testing facilities for Letterkenny are also set to be announced shortly.
The moves following a meeting called by local TD Joe McHugh which was attended by local public representatives at the weekend following a spike in Covid cases locally.
