Popular Irish presenter James Patrice made a splash in Bundoran as he tried to get to grips with surfing!

The influencer shared his experience discovering Bundoran in a special feature on RTE’s Today with Maura and Dáithí.

James, a first-time surfer, got a top lesson with Bundoran Surf Co…. and learned that you don’t have to be good at it to have fun!

“It’s not about standing up, it’s about how you get back up from the fall,” he said, before hitting the waves.

Afterwards, he admitted: “I didn’t actually manage to kneel on the surf board let alone stand but sure LOOK – isn’t it all about giving it a lash gals!”

James also met up with Bundoran Tourism Officer Shane Smyth to hear about the timeless appeal that the seaside destination holds.
