The Department of Business Studies at Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) has launched an exciting new honours degree programme for 2021, Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Marketing with Online Technologies.

Today more than ever businesses have become heavily reliant on the online world. Marketing, sales, services, shopping and engagement have all moved online. Social media and online platforms have become an essential component of marketing strategies. These online technologies allow businesses to meet customers, market online, build brand awareness and boost leads and sales.

This new degree programme will equip learners with the capabilities to excel in the dynamic and global marketing environment by developing marketing graduates who are innovative in their approach, and, have the capacity to act as catalysts for growth in organisations.

The programme will develop marketers who have a strategic approach towards the marketing function and, have the ability to leverage online technologies to connect with current and prospective customers.  Dynamic digital marketing skills are vital for businesses to successfully operate in Industry 4.0.
