Junior Golf has progressed over the years at Letterkenny GC under the wise guidance of members which have included Eddie Harvey, Cathal Roarty, Gerard Duffy plus a mammoth contribution from Catherine Cooke Harkin.

This year the Junior Convenors overseeing the Junior programme are Seamus Patton and Mary Beth McBrearty.

After a very successful season last year we are looking forward to the year ahead as the Junior programme continues to develop and go from strength to strength.

This year a coaching programme will be put in place with PGA Club Professional Seamus McMonagle so that our Juniors can see a progression in the game of Golf.

Letterkenny GC also have two young members as Junior Captains – Sarah Mc Brearty and Christian Harris.

Sarah is a sixth year pupil at Loreto Milford and Christian is fourth year student at St Eunan’s College, Letterkenny.

They will embrace their roles with energy, enthusiasm and provide leadership to the young Juniors at Letterkenny GC.

Junior Golf membership at Letterkenny G.C. starts at €50 for kids up to first year at secondary school, €130 from 2nd year secondary school up to 18 yrs of age.
