Plans lodged for new holiday park in Inishowen

PLANS are in place to develop a new holiday park in Inishowen.

Planning permission has been sought by Owen McLaughlin for the development at Rashenney Clonmany.

The proposed development would include ten stationary homes, ten towing caravan stations and ten camper van stations.

The proposal also seeks permission for the construction of 12 glamping pods, four yurts and a tent pitching area.

A reception building with communal facilities is also provided for while the developer also plans to include hard and soft kids’ play areas and a shower block.

Donegal County Council say a decision will be made on July 5.

There are also plans to develop an extension to a caravan park at Magherawarden, Portsalon.

Colm Doherty is proposing to add 30 new static caravans to the site. A new sewage treatment plant new access roads and walkways are also included in this development.
