ANOTHER 503 confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been announced in Ireland this evening.
No county-by-county breakdown was given, due to the recent ransomware attack on the HSE’s systems.
Daily case numbers may change due to future data validation, the HSE says.
Across the country’s hospitals, there are 101 Covid-19 patients, with 38 of those in intensive care settings.
Due to the current disruption of the HSE IT system, the updates to the GeoHive Covid-19 Hub are paused until further notice.
As of last Tuesday (11 May) there have been 1,922,913 doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in Ireland: 1,408,105 people have received their first dose; 514,808 people have received their second dose.
