Dear People of Inishowen and beyond, please take time to read this and pass it on to everyone you know.
The Mica problem in Inishowen is greatly affecting our families and especially our children!
Anxiety and stress levels are very high among young and old. Everyone’s mental health and well-being are affected, and this cannot go on.
It is the main conversation among children in our primary schools. It is all that parents talk about at the school gates, at home and at work.
Children are asking their parents if their house is safe to live in. Our children should not have these worries. It is getting out of control and our government isn’t listening.
Dublin and Donegal are being treated differently to say the least.
How can anyone in Ireland think that this is fair?

In summary:
This problem is not going to go away. No one is listening. We, as a community, will take this to Dublin ourselves if necessary.
All Donegal TDs and Councillors should know that this is your time to step up. This is your time to shine for your constituents.
THIS WILL BE YOUR LEGACY.
All TDs, whether in Government or not, this is a defining moment for Inishowen people of all ages.
PLEASE DO NOT LET US DOWN.
Yours sincerely,
Martin Bradley, Drumfries.
